Meet Priscilla Bello
Bio
I’m Priscilla — a PMP-certified project manager with a Master’s degree in Project Management, an educationist at heart, and over 10 years of experience building and running businesses. I’m also the founder of Priss Culture Inc., a Canadian fashion enterprise, and the founder of Miss Industrious Nigeria, which I built and ran from 2019 to 2023.
My journey with pageantry started as a contestant myself, years before I ever became an organizer. That experience taught me a great deal — about resilience, about growth, and about what it means to be evaluated not just on a single night, but on who you really are. It’s part of why I built Miss Industrious Nigeria, and it’s the same spirit I’m bringing to Canada: a platform that looks beyond the surface, and genuinely invests in the women it recognizes.
Miss Industrious Canada is the next chapter of that mission — built for a new country, but rooted in the same belief: that purpose-driven, hardworking women deserve real recognition, and real investment in who they’re becoming.
Founder Message
I know what it feels like to stand on a pageant stage and hope that the judges will see beyond the surface.
I also know what it feels like to realize that substance can be overshadowed by money, popularity, influence or the ability to generate revenue for an event.
Miss Industrious came from my belief that women deserve a platform where purpose, hard work, resilience, leadership and contribution carry real weight.
I did not want to remove beauty, confidence or presentation from the experience. I wanted to place them in proper perspective. A woman can be elegant and accomplished. She can present herself with confidence and still be evaluated for the depth of who she is.
I founded Miss Industrious Nigeria in 2019 and led it through 2023. That chapter taught me that a meaningful idea needs more than passion. It needs systems, accountability, strong people and a vision that can continue beyond its founder.
Today, I am building Miss Industrious as a global institution. Canada is the next active chapter. Other countries can follow. The mission remains the same wherever we go:
To recognize women of substance and ensure that recognition becomes the beginning of greater opportunity, responsibility and impact.
Professional Profile
Priscilla Bello holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Education. She is a certified Project Management Professional and has more than ten years of entrepreneurial experience.
She is also the founder of Priss Culture Inc., a separate Canadian fashion enterprise, and the founder of Miss Industrious Nigeria and Miss Industrious Canada.
Her experience across education, entrepreneurship, project management, fashion and women’s programming informs her approach to building Miss Industrious as a disciplined and enduring institution.
